I am thankful to one of the RJs on the radio who recommended this movie; otherwise, I wouldn’t have watched it. She particularly mentioned Taapsee Pannu, whom I like, so I decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised! It was a fun movie with a very different setup, unlike other Bollywood films. Of course, the concept was borrowed from a foreign movie, which I also watched and has been remade about 20 times in various languages. However, this Indian adaptation, tailored to our society, was amazing.
I enjoyed the Indian version more, as the stories were cleverly tweaked. Each and every character stood out, and the movie kept me engaged till the end. I especially loved the tracks featuring Taapsee Pannu and Amy Virk, as well as the one with Amy Virk and Fardeen Khan, though all the other tracks were equally funny! The part where Taapsee talks to her pind di friend was hilarious !
It’s a great choice for a relaxing evening if you’re in the mood for some laughs!
