For those dissing this version, they truly don't know the great minds of African-American comedy and are probably white middle aged or suburban moms with kids taking them to soccer practice and doesn't understand. As a person who is Puerto Rican and White decent growing up adopted to an African-American comedies this was a staple in the house. It was the first R rated movie I seen and truly loved. My mom who didn't have a sense a humor much loved this movie. Though she has passed on I still watch this when I can. It's hilarious! I don't think I've seen a Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Loretta Devine or even a Tracy Morgan movie or stand-up where it wasn't a little unorthodox or plain wrong. their comedy is told how it is and I thank them for that. A great movie and one I'd watch again and again.

Okay, The Batman is hands down (I'm only 28) the BEST Batman film I've seen yet. I was skeptical to watch it, but it's really, really good. I never liked the comic books (the few that I read from my nephews and my brother) because (and I also get that's how they are they're supposed to be cartoonish they're comic books), but the essence of the comics really showed through the years. I mean I liked Tim Burton's Batman, but this takes the cake. Everyone in the other ones I've seen are like "Our hero Batman he'll save us!" But, in this even they find him (until they get to know him) to be corrupt. The way the director and the screenplay writer basically took the comics for what they were worth and made it completely twisted and dark. Reading between the lines of each comic was pure genius! I've seen Jim Carrey's The Riddler (back when I feel like they were just trying to just animate the pages of the comic books, very cartoonish and what makes DC not my favorite in my opinion) and I like Jim Carrey, but I wasn't a fan of his Riddler, too annoying and I thought he was trying to combine his character form the Mask in with the Riddler which was terrible. Paul Dano, the way he brought the dark, raw essence of who I feel like the Riddler was supposed to be, this corrupt guy with a sad childhood. The uniqueness of this script alone is why I loved it. And for once, they made Catwoman NOT ANNOYING!! Every Catwoman portrayal I've seen from Halle Berry to Michelle Pfeffer to Anne Hathaway were too annoying. Zoe Kravitz played it well. And Robert Pattinson the last film I saw him in was well Remember Me, which was a tragic love story. But, the way he portrayed Bruce/The Bat was pure awesomeness!! I feel like he played Batman which for many years I felt like a lot of the movies missed out on the point of who he is. They make him out to be a superhero, and call him a hero. But, that's not who Batman is. Batman at the end of the day is just someone who is (in a cape in mask) doing what he felt his dad as mayor would've done. He's avenging all of the people that his parents would've taken out. He takes revenge for his parents death and the depressed man he turned into while at the same time avenging a city that will always be corrupt. He basically did what I felt (because for as many Batman films I've seen where I always watched for the villains cause I never felt they showed the true essence of Bruce, just make his alter ego seem like an entitled POS) they showed what I feel like what the comics really showed. A sad vulnerable shell of a man, who just wants to make Gotham the way his dad would've wanted. Better. But, Pattinson played Batman and the screenplay writer wrote Batman the way I felt he should've been portrayed that I just shouldn't have seen it in others (and why I'm more Marvel than DC) is he's anti-hero. He's not a hero, he's definitely not a villain. He's just an anti-hero. Which to me is a pretty odd way of saying. He's Vengeance for the people of Gotham, but most importantly himself. But, if they could do a whole back story with this director and Paul Dano reclaiming his role as the Riddler in this sense I'd think this would be PERFECT!!!

Everything about this is pure comic GOLD!!!!! It's as realistic as you can get with a family. Yes, something's the grandfather says is a bit unethical, but he's a grandfather. We all complain, things just not going right all while trying to please a little girl in following her dreams, a depressed gay uncle. It shows value that yes even though they're all a bit messed up and yes, the little girl is chubby. But she shined and that's what made the movie so spectacular. Definitely in my top ten favorite movies in the comedic genre.

c'mon i used to sneak with my best friend and older brother and watch this show. It's a CLASSIC!!! And the movie was even better. I didn't watch that until I was older, but forever in always the best catchphrase in adult animation television. "I AM CORNHOLIO I'M A GRINGO. I HAVE NO BUNGHOLE!!!"- King Beavis
