One of two books I constantly keep on my desk whilst studying medical microbiology, the other being "Medical Microbiology Edited by Michael R. Barer, MBBS, PhD, FRCPath and Will L Irving". An excellent read, thorough, clear and concise with plenty of pointers to help remember tricky things.
