The acting is superb and I find the intersection of different languages or cultures(British, German, Spanish etc.) fascinating. The protagonist/Alexander/Jackal is meticulous and cunny; however, in the last episode(8), he makes a mistake. His hit is a fail and he leaves the gun used in the assassination. It is almost comical that he planned for so long only to fail to anticipate that a conspiracy theorist who hates UDC would come to disrupt his carefully laid-out plans---I was almost disappointed but this shows he is human and can fail. I think it will make for a thrilling experience on EP9, where the Jackal is going to do everything to eliminate UDC. Given the story and pacing, it is highly likely that season 1 will end with Jackal's wife discovering that he is the Jackal and deciding to end things with him or his family being discovered and killed by his enemies. I saw a scene at the intro screenplay where the Jackal is crying and I have not seen that scene yet, which makes me nervous about season 1 ending.
