BRAVO! This was one visually orgasmic movie that after over 2 + hours running time I felt complete but told myself Im ready for another hour of the same because of how this epic sequel was well executed. The music scoring enhanced every scene it accompanied. The Overture for me though felt its a common successful formula that crescendos towards the end which but it helped in heightening the emotion . Lead actor acting was spot on, I could feel that rage and softness , he’s handsome in a Roman gladiator way but as a gladiator I thought he could have used bigger, muscled arms. The gladiator fight in the coliseum arena with water and sharks looked preposterous BUT the writers did their research , learned this in the Q&A after the screening, that there were a pipes under the coliseum to flood the arena for mock battles. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this epic movie that I am planning to pay this time to see it again.
