Terrible and unwatchable. I’m Hispanic and can’t relate to any of the characters or lame storylines. Why do television executives think that all Latinos speak with heavy Spanish accents? We don’t. It would be great to see a show where a Mexican-American family is represented in a positive light being educated, attractive, articulate, and successful. A show that provides mass appeal comedy and is not limited or targeted to only one culture. NBC, save some money and knockout Lopez vs Lopez from your prime time TV lineup.

Loved lead actress was Latina and not portrayed as maid or nanny. Really appreciated that she wasn’t forced to speak in a heavy Spanish accent too. Wanted to like the show, but lacking in comedy. Storyline weak. Actors are talented...but show just wasn’t funny to me. Hated the laugh track. I will not be watching again.
