All I can say is, I am on page 67 and I really hope this gets better. I am so bored. Talk about an unnecessarily slow burn. I have never read a book so lacking in scene setting - I cannot picture anything. The characters are dull and dry and they are all really unpleasant. There is so much focus on telling, rather than painting a picture. I have put this down so many times, reading without the desire to really come back apart from the fact it cost me $22 and I feel I should read it. I would use the word “meh” to sum this up so far.
