Blue Moon was a nice view of the Broadway scene in post depression New York. It lacked a dimension and texture in some areas, and fell flat. The acting was great, and the Sardi bartender was a great device in the expositional and self introspection part. "Larry" was a complicated character who wanted to experience life at many levels, but in the end, died too soon by his own design.
