I love the books and was really looking forward to the film coming out. Unfortunately alot of the side plots that make the books so compelling were left out. I understand they had to condense the book down to make it into a film but what ruined it for me is casting Pierce Brosnan as Ron. He may have just beat Dick Van Dyke as the worst cockney accent.
