I always get the feeling and impression with Guy Ritchie films… that he’s really trying to compete with Tarantino, and trying way to hard to make his characters look and act cool, much like Ritchie himself and we all know that you can’t act cool…. You either are cool or you’re not… and if you’re trying to act cool… you most certainly are not….. and that is Guy Ritchie in a nutshell, and this latest offering is no different…..His dialogue is awful… it’s what he imagines cool tough guys to talk like… so unrealistic… the sort of thing that appeals to morons and 15 year olds, and his master stroke is getting a completely unrealistic Hugh Grant to speak in the worst Cockney accent in film ever, nudging Dick Van Dyke into 2nd place…. He’s made 4 good films: Lock stock Snatch Sherlock Holmes 1&2 That’s it…..
