Got put off this film early though it did improve.
The delivery of much of the script felt forced and a lot of the acting was not great.
Early additions to the film sabotaged the narrative tension though it recovered.
Much of the script falls into uninspired or superfluous, dropping like a lead balloon at many points - either spelling-out-the-obvious / spoon-feeding of information to the audience or a failure of the 'show, don't tell' principle in action. Hell, they should have done it as a silent movie, it would have improved it greatly.
For an experienced group of woodsmen, the Indians sure moved around a lot like a bunch of kids playing at being Indians. I blame the director.
The gore was ok. It was an action film that delivered on the action in a haphazard way.
I mind blanked the entire storyline as the acting-directorship was so bad.
If this was filmed by high school students, it possibly would have been a masterpiece to begin a career. For a professional endeavour, I hope it will be career ending.
