Brilliant! I read this book back in the early 70s as a reading assignment in grade school. Yes, an assignment during grade school, USA. The story literally consumed me and I couldn't put the book down. Since then, I've reread this novel at least 3-4 more times, still in utter amazement. Never take your freedoms for granted. They were bought with a price.
