This is one of the best horror movies I have seen in years. The only reason I hesitate to give it 5 stars is the experimental nature in which the movie was shot and edited is definitely not palatable to everyone. That being said, the feeling that it evoked in me while I was watching it is a testament to the subjective experience that is horror. The way it took me back to being a scared and frightened child, wandering the dark hallways of my childhood home, looking for my parent's bedroom after waking up from a nightmare... my heart was beating out of my chest for almost the full length of the movie. Hopefully we can see more movies like this in the future, and more movies from Kyle Edward Ball on the big screen!
