!SPOILER ALERTS!
I am honestly so shocked that this movie got so many good reviews.
Like many other reviewers, this movie left me with lingering feelings. I usually love lingering feelings post-movies, but I hate how I feel with this one.
I believe that there's a lot of hole that can be filled with necessary plot. If you're a plot twist lover, do not expect anything from this movie as the way it start, is how its gonna ends. It starts, with the girl died, and more girls died. I expected a lot of plot twists at first. For instance like, the good math teacher is actually an abuser but no one knows. They showed that those girls died simply because they're kept inside for such a long time. But, why? There's no explanation. The strictness of the parents isn't logic for me, like why the mom so paranoid?
Next, the lack of POVs, especially after their youngest sister died. But, they act like nothing happens instead of appeared sad in school as if it was a forbidden thing to be talk about. As if they're suppressing their feelings. As if weeping for someone's death isn't normal.
I don't know, this is just simply my thoughts.
