I am about to watch the series but thought I would read some reviews first. Mainstream newspapers are full of praise.
I read reviews here and a few are the complete opposite.
Based on both types of reviews I get the impression that the negative reviews come from contributors who can't accept faction (a mixture of fact and fiction) and who do not have much of a sense of humour.
I suspect I will enjoy this series as I did the 2 Bridgerton ones.
