Billy Bob

One of my personal favorites from Quentin Tarantino. Intriguing plot that (like many of his best films) keeps you on the edge of your seat. De Niro and Forster both give great supporting roles. If you like Tarantino films and haven’t seen “Jackie Brown,” do yourself a favor and check it out!

A mere budget of $1.2 million. One of the best movies of all time. Great plot. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. Amazing performances from many famous actors. Highly recommended. Not for the uncool or weak. The violence gets extreme, but it’s all part of the “ride.”

“The price is wrong, Bob!” This film is near perfect. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do…draws you in to the story, provides endless laughs, and even tugs at the old heart strings a time or two. “Happy Gilmore” and “Billy Madison” were a huge part of many “90’s kids” childhoods. It’s an original film that has a funny storyline. I think it should have been left alone and not had a sequel, but that’s just my opinion. Sometimes the original it’s just too good and too special, and that’s what “Happy Gilmore” is.

One of my favorite gangster films of all time. Seems to be more of an unknown flick by many, but the ratings are justifiably very high from those who have seen it. Vintage, and nostalgic with sultry seedy undertones. Great cinematography and actor performances.

Hard to put into words the complexity of how incredible this film is. You can watch it 100 times, and still see something new. Lots of laughs. Lots of quotes. Good characters. Great plot. 1998 in the house!

Lots of laughs! Definitely an enjoyable movie! In good Sandler style, too, there are great life lessons and perspectives, to go along with the slap stick comedy. Ultimately, film (especially this genre) is meant to entertain and take us “away” for a little while, and I think the film does a great job at making the viewer laugh and feel good. It’s one of the better Happy Madison films, in my opinion.

Hilarious. Classic. 90’s movie with Adam Sandler delivering many laughs and also good life lessons. Dancing down the stairs to Culture Club. Chris Farley. “This milk could be our milk.”

Amazing movie. Original and unique. Quirky and funny. Star-studded with amazing actors, led by Gene Hackman. Wes Anderson’s “shining jewel” is “Royal Tenenbaums.”

My girlfriend and her family are huge “Happy Gilmore” (the original) fans, and so am I. We stopped watching “Happy Gilmore 2” about 25 minutes into it, and her parents couldn’t finish it, either. We wanted to love the movie. It got weird after he kills off his wife. Might be a fun movie for some people, but left us missing the original and how much better 90’s movies are than the crap they put out today. They lost the spark. Lost the touch. Too much money and not enough funny!
