This is bad. I watched this movie and OH MY GOD IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! I am only 12 years old (this is my moms account) and yes i have seen the movie. I just graduated 6th grade elementary school and during my 6th grade time period my class read the book. It was good, seemed normal and liked it. But then my 6th grade teacher showed us the movie and UGH IT WAS REALLY AGE-INAPPROPRIATE. First the movie was going normal until the swimming scene that seemed off. But jesse one of the characters took off his shirt and jumped in the pool. And winny the girl did almost the same thing! Later there was a literal kissing scene that seemed school inappropriate and the whole class reacted to it. I thought in my head “oh my gosh. What the hell am i watching?!”. I mean what kind of school shows us sexual relationships?! Not only the kissing was bad but there was a also a REALLY HARSH GUN SCENE in the movie. The man in the yellow suit immediately pulled out a gun and held winnie with his arms in the most crucial way possible and then SHOT the gun at jesse! Like WHY would this be elementary appropriate? This isn’t Texas where you can toy around. So after the movie was finished i got so terrorized in tue fact the WHOLE 6th grade saw this that i had to tell my dad and mom about this movie and what wrong with it. I later showed those weird scenes and they surprisingly agreed with me and will email the school (even if I graduated from it). Those were really inappropriate for children. I also saw this wasnt in prime video kids! After all i give this movie 1 star! No school should show this imbecile movie with nude scenes. Do not watch this movie if you are under 14 or not mature enough. It wont be good for the children. Before watching please read this review and then later decide if your minor should watch it. My school dosent even understand why this movie is bad for kids.
