Eff Being Sad With Tiffany Ann

So remember back in the second half of season 4 of The Walking Dead when the style of the episodes changed (after they all got separated after the prison explosion)? You could tell there was a new showrunner/executive producer that focused each episode on a specific set of survivors from the prison explosion (like Beth & Daryl, Carol, Tyreese, Lizzie & Mika, etc.). That meant with that editing style which was VERY much a choice of -his- we’d sometimes we an entire month without seeing Rick, Coral or Michonne. That is when TWD very SLOWLY started to decline and the showrunner and he I’m referring to is Scott Gimple. This man is the epitome of a bad writer, director & producer. He was SO BAD that poor Angela Kang had to clean up his mess which is why season 9 was a very slight improvement. I had high hopes for The Ones Who Live because Angela Kang was supposed to be the showrunner, so I was like “omg yes! We won’t get stupid, half-asted storylines that are drawn out way too long, kill off any major characters for pure shock value (poor Coorraawwl & Glenn—I know Glenn died in the comics, but c’mon—that stupid s6 cliffhanger was bad enough then he killed Abraham and we could have lived with that, UGH SCOTT SUCKS), and they would have had two choices which both would have been terrible. But then, in addition to Danai and Andy being the executive producers which does NOT mean they wrote the entire show (look at the credits to see who the episode was written by each time) I saw Scott Gimple come up and he was also doing the Inside the Episodes. This man single-handedly brought down the show that had the highest ratings of all time at one point…higher than Game of Thrones. The ratings and viewership went down because of his terrible decisions—one worst after the next—so instead of Angela Kang, they brought this buffoon back to make this hot mess of a spin-off. I complained above story lines being too long and drawn out. This didn’t have enough at all and just didn’t make sense. You’re telling me that with the CRM being as powerful as it is, Rick and Michonne would just come up with this elaborate plan in bed to take it down? And it happened THAT quickly? I don’t even remember the villain’s name: that’s how insignificant his character was. He was supposed to have a major role. Glad Rick, Michonne, Judith & RJ got their happy ending. Please give us TWD fans our happy endings with these spin-offs and STOP LETTING SCOTT GIMPLE RUN THE SHOW. He will ruin them. I think the Daryl Dixon show was BY FAR the best. I don’t like the name of the second season, but I think it’s going to be great. Anything will be better than TOWL. It couldn’t have been more obvious Danai and Andy didn’t want to do a second season and they even said that. That’s up to them and fine, but why make it such a cheesy ending? At least put some sort of Cliff hanger in to add some TWD flare. Well, can’t wait for season 2 of the Daryl Dixon Show: The Book of Carol. PLEASE KEEP SCOTT GIMPLE FAR AWAY FROM THE WRITER’s ROOM.
