I felt deeply for the characters, both Leigh Ann and Bayou and Hattie Mae and her other son. The dynamics of a family weighed heavy but so true. Bayou's love so heartbreaking. I wondered why there were no awards for Tyler Perry, the cast, and the movie. I can't stop thinking about the love and pain of the characters. Great movie that shows the true pain and struggles of the Black race.
