This movie traumatized me for life!! I was 8 years old when this movie was released. It being rated PG my parents chose to take me. My mother ended up sitting in the theater lobby with me as I could not continue to watch. I didn’t sleep alone for YEARS due to fear of burning up in my sleep. To this day (I’m 58) I lose it when seeing there has been a house fire in my area. I despise this movie. It is no joke and can do permanent damage. Do not let children watch!!! PLEASE! The reason I’m doing this review so many years later is today I came upon a house fire in my town. The house engulfed and help not there as yet. My heart immediately sent back to my trauma with this movie. I will NEVER be the same again.
