Nicholas Heyming

Really needed this album. Common's wordplay is honestly his best, he brings decades of experience that yield lyrics dripping with layered meaning and impact. A verbal masterpiece, A God, So Many People, and Wise are my personal favorites. Pete Rock's production is smooth, soulful, and funky. There were a couple voice distortions he tossed in on certain harmonies that didn't hit for me, but the rest of his production more than makes up for it. If you haven't heard this album yet, you're in for a treat!
