My 7 year old found it boring and he loves dinosaurs and the JP franchise. The highly anticipated D-Rex did nothing for the movie. It wouldn't have made a big difference if it was in the movie or not in my opinion. A few recycled scenes with minor twist. All the characters were just kind of there to do the job. I felt that there was no character development whatsoever.
