Leave it to the Thais to turn the cinema halls into an emotional flood surge. Audience faces would be wetter than the Songkram Festival. Bring the whole family for this. It would make you go the whole gamut from laughs to even guilt. While it might be a Sino Thai film, the story reflects our lifes , more so if you are Asian. For non Asian, this is a lil glimpse through the window. Family is a universal theme .Be warned, prepare the tissues. Tomorrow is never guranteed. Mend the tattered relationship, close the gap. Now go hug your elders.

I loved the original Planet of the Apes ( 1968).Pre CGI movies was often more character focused , the narrative intimate and gripping. I told myself to watch without any expectation. For fast action movie fans you might find it dragging at certain phase. Some might find it boring. They say you need not watch the previous films to understand but I beg to difer. Know who Ceasar was is important to your viewing experience though this story takes part a thousand years post humus Was I blown away? No, but I had fun. This movie is a light and refreshing aperitif. Go watch the originals if you are intrigued and in between waiting for the next installment. If you find yourself thinking about 'humanity' as the credits rolled, you have my friend as they say 'got it'. I am interested for the next.

Recommended especially for ladies. We often self sacrifice for family, parners and friends. This movie teach us its not selfish to love ourselves first and 'fight' for our dreams. Do not put all your hopes on others, they can fail us. Work on yourself, so your future you can be proud. Its not a just a 50 kg weight loss movie.
