This is by far my favorite Disney channel show of all time. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because of some main things. Number one the writing isn't that great. In episodes it clearly states that Emma is lactose intolerant when later she eats cheese. I also don't like how they replicated the children. Finn is exactly like Jorge, Matteo is pretty much a mix of Ravi and Tiffany, and Destiny is kind of like an Emma. Finn's character development is awful, I feel like they should write him out of the show. We have already seen his type of character before and its honestly quite old. Destiny I feel is the only one who's character is written well. She comes to camp as a little pageant girl and becomes involved with nature. Finn's character is just plain boring. Matteo is a good character I feel like they could dig deeper into his origin. I really don't like how So many characters just left. Everyone that left except for Hazel had an episode where it shows how much this camp means to them. For Tiffany it was a place to escape her mother, and for Xander it's what he loved to do. Griff loved the place because he felt like he fit in there. They all loved the place so much and it makes zero sense why they never mention it. I get how there was contract disputes and actors wanting to leave I get it. The director's wanted a change, but I hate how they just never mention them again. Emma and Xander were pretty much in love and same goes to Griff and Zuri. They could've at least mentioned something in later episodes. It would've been extremely easy to just say they couldn't make it like they did with Gwen. I really feel that Noah is written horribly. We know basically nothing about his character. We didn't even know he had a brother till season 5. Another thing I should point out is I get why a lot of parents don’t like this show. There's a lot of adult humor like in one episode Hazel told Xander he can rack her while jumping on the table. Its implied what she meant. Another thing is Gladys. I loved Gladys as a kid, she was funny, and I thought she was cool. A lot of people don't because she was weird and it's not very popular that she left Timmy out there to pretty much die alone. Kids don't look to much into this but any teens watching, or adults, will know. Hazel's character was plain creepy. Some kids found that funny, but it was kind of disturbing. Like it is released in an episode that she knocked Xander out and went on a hot air balloon ride with his body. If this was the vice versa Disney Bunk’d would probably get shut down. Lou's character is kind of a drag on. I feel there in a tight situation right now because if she leaves a lot of people are going to stop watching, but her character is a drag on. We already know her very well and it’s gotten to a point that its quite sad how bad her life is. Another thing I feel I should mention is I hate how bad the camp is. The food has never been good, it makes people sick, and no one cares, the camp is pretty much built on a sink hole. I also feel that some of the old cast could've made an appearance. Emma did make a guest appearance in one episode but for a short period of time. Season one was an awesome season two was by far best season, season 3 they made a lot of new changes some good some bad and didn't do so good, season four was the worst, just bad writing. Season five was a good season I like how Gwen came back for a surprise visit. I wish they did something like that to the og squad. Bunk'd has been going on for a very long time for Disney standards so I fear it's coming to an end.
