I started watching Masterchef Australia and really enjoyed it. The cooking level advances as the episodes advance. The home cooks encourage and support each other. The judges are honest but they do not demean the home cooks to gain a few popularity points. Masterchef USA is the exact opposite. The home cooks criticize each other, I’m sure they are encouraged to do this. The judges are rude critical uninspiring people who though talented chefs in their own right do not bring out the best in the home cooks. The show is more reality TV than cooking. I wish Masterchef USA would change.
