This show goes out of its way to normalize self-destructive behavior by teenage girls. It also presents such behavior as common. Worse yet it makes absolutely abhorrent behavior by powerful people seem uncommon, when it's actually quite common. The fact of the matter is that most teenagers are not as self-destructive as these teenagers are portrayed and most powerful people are almost as abhorrent as the few portrayed. One aspect also was very misportrayed - if Shelby's Dad was really a holy roller, he would never allow Shelby to be in a beauty pageant nor would he teach teenage aerobics in a Church. Of course, there are many heretical pastors so maybe that is what the show is trying to depict, but it certainly doesn't appear that way.

This game is simply awesome. Buy, Sell, Fight, Capture, and modify a large number of ships. You can steal modifications from other ships, and heavily modify yours. Additionally, the story line quests - that you don't actually have to follow - are a well written novel. In combat you have several ways to command your fleet - or go it solo. The graphics are acceptable, but nothing to brag about. It's the game play that is awesome. Even better, the game is open source so you can create your own ships - even planets. Oh, did I mention the game is free????!!!!
