Best show ever, The writing and character development are phenomenal, I've watched it 10 times start to finish and will continue to return to it again and again.

Based on the reviews I had to give this movie a chance and I don’t know how it has gotten so much recognition. In my opinion this was a silly take on a much better movie of the 80’s, Sleeping with the Enemy. Right down to the glass house on the beach and her escape plan. The acting was mediocre though Elizabeth Moss was pretty good. Some of the scenes were just laughable like when the daughter gets smacked by the “ghost”. Another very silly moment was her “come and get me” scene straight from I Know What You Did Last Summer. I wanted to turn this movie off right from the beginning with the superhero type room they had with all of the high tech outfits etc. thinking I had clicked on the completely wrong movie. The whole concept of the gaslit woman whose losing her mind has been done and done and done again. It’s disheartening and this one is for the younger crowd who may think this is a new concept in movies. Save yourself the redundant themes and check out Elizabeth Harvest (more original and creative ) or even the older Sleeping with the Enemy (Julia Roberts was phenomenal).
