Overall very impressed. As a huge fan of the games I can disassociate this as a different medium and even so thoroughly enjoyed the little fan service nods with audio queues and soundtrack elements. I was very worried about Halsey, but now that I understand the timeline better it makes sense that she is much younger. The disconnect with MC’s voice changing was hard to stomach at first, but I also think this is why the face reveal makes a lot of sense, especially in a first episode as it kind of resets you expectation and makes it clear this is a new 117.
