Drew Cooper – Google

I had "enough" to drink when I watched this and I still hated it. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because it seemed like Skarsgard was doing his absolute damnedest (no pun) to make this character work, but it was a losing battle from the start. The splinter under my nail through this entire movie (other than the horrible pacing and the "meh" supporting cast) was the absolute tone-deaf soundtrack. It's like they hired a highschool freshman art student, gave them a handfull of MDMA, and told them to scroll through Spotify. This movie smacks of the Robert Pattinson "Batman" where you think you're going to get a cool new take on a classic character, but you end up getting a moody emo shell of the character who constantly gets their ass handed to them until the last third of the film. All I can say is - don't pay for this movie to watch it. Just catch it in passing or skip it entirely. It's not worth the work to seek it out.
