The writers should have left the original series of movies where it ended. Milla Jovovich's films were far better than this steaming pile of cow manure. First, it's completely unnecessary to continuously identify exactly what time certain scenes take place in the film. Twice in the movie, multiple different times are shown on screen to tell the viewer what time things are happening. In a 3-4 minute period, 3 different times are flashed on screen to tell you what time things occur. Towards the end of the movie, this happens again, this time only about 15 seconds apart. It's completely unnecessary, especially when events happen just minutes apart. Some scenes are significantly unrealistic. For example, shooting a rocket launcher in a train car would ultimately kill every life inside of it, yet it only injures or kills one lifeform in an 8 foot area? The goal should be to make some things as realistic as possible, though in this case, it's not even a consideration. Some of the acting is also incredibly bad despite some actors having been in A tier movies. At the end of the film, it shows the movie's name hinting at a sequel. My advice, don't. If the first movie was so poorly done, I can only imagine the second movie being just as bad, if not worse.

Generally speaking, Bruce Willis is an amazing actor. Considering his current illness (aphasia), he wasn't at his peak in this film, and that's unfortunate as he's always been one of my favorites. The rest of the cast was pretty bad, especially Barry Jay Minoff. This guy needs to stay out of movies. The story was 'somewhat' creative, but it's execution was awful. This film could have benefited from any other director in the world, but in all honestly, this film should never have happened. Rotten Tomatoes gave this a 9%, and I think that's way too generous. Someone please take Jesse Atlas's right to direct movies away. Saban needs to stick with Power Rangers movies because this was a bigger flop than its trademark film and TV series.
