Rob Aversa-Goodman

This is a five star show so long as you're evaluating it against the first season of other character-driven sit-coms. Shows like this need time (probably at least a season) to develop the personalities of the main characters, and to introduce the secondary characters that will make its world feel lived in. That said, I think The Great North shows a lot of promise. I'm enjoying it way more than I enjoyed the first season of other similar shows. I'm not sure if I've ever rewatched the first season of Bob's Burgers or Parks and Rec, but I could see myself returning to some of these early episodes. So far, so good!
