Gritty, dark, soulful. This show is Star Wars for adults. Rogue One set the groundwork for Andor as Disney allowed Star Wars to finally cast aside family-friendly plot lines and detached, morally-ambiguous “killing” of clones and droids. We get to see the real side of what the Rebellion is fighting for and how it takes a toll on everyone’s lives including our chaotic-neutral hero with only budding morals. An extensive cast of well-developed characters and intertwining storylines build a wonderful world that is brought to life with top notch costume and set design, immersing you in what feels like REAL Star Wars. Season 1 is awesome. I recommend you give it a try.
