Another movie by the feminists and simps of bollywood. The lowlight being when apparently the guy is wrong and owes an apology to the people he is confiding in, including his wife - the appalling reason being his female boss is blackmailing him or coercing him to have sex with her, else his job is on the line! So it's shown as his fault, like one would expect in feminist/s*mp portrayals. The apathy towards male victims, especially when the abuser is female, isn't new in India. They play a game of selective truth, where the females change rules when it is a discomfort to them. The female characters who never cheat, and the male characters whose cheating is immoral - the summary of the movie's take on cheating. Also, as is always with bollywood, a female slapping a male is all chill - inspite of the preacher from the movie Thappad (Taapsee Pannu) being here! The joke being that the guy who was being abused by his female boss was the one who was slapped by his wife when she learnt of the "affair". When he explained the "affair" more, he apologized to her like the good little s*mp that he is written to be. Yet, gynocentric bollywood will portray, in other movies, a female who cheats as someone liberating herself. It's like chatgpt (at least was the case with the earlier versions) - if you ask it to tell a joke about men, it will; if you ask it to tell a joke about women, it will say that it can't be offensive! Basically, ballywood didn't want to show females in a bad caricature, else they may be called offensive.

Clickbait of a movie. Portrayed as a horror haunting, similar to Insidious or Poltergeist, in streaming sites where I am! Sneaky tactics to get more audience for this movie?! It's a joke. An almost woke movie, I say almost to be kind to a fledgling director. But wokeness cannot sell by itself beyond a point, and needs sneaky or stealth tactics - like choosing horror as the wrapper-genre, to sell a nauseating "awakening". My hunch, as to why many didn't like this movie, is the woke nature trying to use mixed messages. My advice, that could help some viewers: SPOILERS POSSIBLY: If you see any themes related to mental health, replace it with the work of a ghost/demon. The science v. religion war will help, where this sneaky attempt to thrust a mental issue, in an almost woke-ish manner, is more palatable when the mental illness is seen as a demon possessing the patient. Some may not like this harshness from me, but as someone who has seen the ills of the pharma-medical-industrial complex (which tries to answer everything with "the science"+wokeism), I am being too mild. I don't mean to say that the director intended to make this as a science v. religion movie, but the woke bug has bitten most of us. Maybe she went down that path knowingly/unknowingly - doesn't matter at this point to me. The grandiose idealist is what this movie is, someone who has woken up, and is now going to replace Jesus or Krishna! On a side note, the director, in the attempt of using too many metaphors for dementia, does end up making this as a spirit/faith based movie (unintended I think) - but the ambiguity is simply disappointing. Preach all you like. But have some openness and be up-front about it. And don't steal ideas of empathy from religion, without giving credit.

Your typical feminist gyan type movie, about why only males have egos, and females are these delicate ego-less beings. As the saying goes, the humble person has the most incorrigible ego, which you will associate with most of the female characters in the movie. Supported by the usual men, who will bend over backwards and forwards to women, who want to create the impression that they are so pro-women that they are their true saviours. Such men usually have their "eyes opened" to the reason why they are at fault in relationships, and the poor woman, whatever be her mistakes, is blemish-less. They are shown as these always s*x-hungry creatures, waiting to stray away from relationships, which a woman is apparently immune to. And all a guy does is selfish, and that a woman's selfishness, however stark, is the epitome of selflessness. Watch this, if you are a student trying to uncover the hypocrisies of feminism - it's fun watching the double standards. Else, stay clear of it, as better relationship advice exist in religion, science, or anything outside of the entertainment industry. Bollywood, the industry that has spoiled India with their appalling takes on relationships, masculinity, femininity, wooing a woman, dating etc through the 80s and 90s, look like jokers when giving sermons about these topics. Especially when leaning more towards hypocritical values that feminism presents.
