As historical reimagining go, this was a decent program. For the most part, attention to historical detail was OK. In its effort to appeal to a certain kind of audience, the “action hero” heroics of Sam Adams were accentuated. In the overall scheme, they were micro details and macro details that were inaccurate. In 18th century warfare, the actual ability to fire a musket ball was secondary to the impact of the bayonet. And yet in battle sequences virtually all of the British soldiers went into their charge mode with bayonet definitely unfixed. OK… Nitpicking… That was one of the minor problems. Although considering the bayonet was the principal killing machine in battles in the 18 century, it’s kind of a large oversight lol But what really gives this away and its underlying purpose is the deliberate omission of Thomas Jefferson as a major player. Jeez… what a surprise! Lol Forgive the unavoidable irony Nonetheless, as a piece of patriotic, nationalistic pride i stilling propaganda videos… It’s pretty well done
