I came across this movie quite by accident and needed to watch. After doing this, I needed to comment on the importance and context related to the state of the subject in today's world. The fact that men were the ones to decide how and what women were able to decide what to do with their bodies and lives was disgusting. Same applies to current times since Roe v Wade fell. That said, the sisterhood and commitment of those women was admirable and being able to help each other was superb. The movie was hard to watch due to the Neanderthal thinking of the doctors. I wanted to smash them for the smugness and disregard for women’s health care. The movie was a lesson that needs to be revisited by our ‘justices’ now on the bench with regard to women’s rights to do what they need to do without fear of shame & breaking the ‘law’.

After getting through 2 episodes, I decided not to finish this series. This is the darkest, most sadistic and totally inappropriate version ever produced. A waste of time and talent by everyone, especially by Olivia Coleman. So disappointed that after all of her wonderful roles and awards, she chose to portray an absolutely twisted character. Since when was Miss Haversham an opium addicted hag? In the producers quest for diversity, there are so many out of place actors trying their best. If Charles Dickens were alive, this would certainly kill him!!

Having only found this on Netflix today and binged thru the entire season, I totally enjoyed watching this. Marriage and monotony, not monogamy, is something every married couple encounters at least once in their years together. It takes a committed, secure couple to try and keep the spark alive. The actors in this show portray such a couple wonderfully. Their focus is their family unit and trying whatever’s necessary to keep them together. I totally enjoyed watching this show and wish I found it earlier. 👍🏻👍🏻

Not having seen the first film, I had no expectations or clues as to what this one was gong to be like. But may I say this was absolutely great!!! The casting was excellent. Script was great and even tho the movie was close to 2 1/2 hrs it flew by. The humor thrown in was quite funny. You will be thoroughly entertained and will give it two 👍🏻👍🏻. You won’t be sorry !!!!

Ok, well …. I’ll watch one or two episodes. And 8 hrs later I binged the entire 8 episodes. I didn’t know what to expect but let me tell you it was great!!! Great casting, great scripts and even better acting. Leave it to Tim Burton to make this a most interesting series. The humor is dry and not obvious, which makes it much more for adults. Not for kids as the special effects can definitely spook them. I highly recommend this series and really hope there will be a season 2. Left an open ending for more. I recommend this for anyone who likes Addams Family. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This is, by far, one of the nicest movies I’ve seen in a long while. It touches on the deep, personal and depressing emotions that people feel. Nothing violent, nothing but real emotions and how connections can help people. I’ve watched it 3x already. It’s just a feel good movie.

Having just finished watching this, all I can say is…please watch this! I’m not going to rehash the plot but if you want a movie that will put you in a happy place, please make sure you catch this movie. You won’t regret it!! 👍🏻👍🏻
