Gladiator 2 is awful. It’s a poor copy of the original. The main actors are wooden and there is little explanation as why the main character finds himself in a foreign land at the mercy of the Roman army. Worse still Denzil Washington’s character is a carbon copy of Reed in the original. You’d have thought 25 years would also have improved the fight scenes. The CGI is terrible. The baboons at the start hopeless, the Rhino and worse still the great white sharks. Does any wonder how the Romans caught a 4m fish who live in cold water and transported them alive to swim around the Colosseum. How did they get the sea water? Rome isn’t exactly next to the beach. This film insults the intelligence of any rational person. Truly bad!
