This is The Superman movie. After years of corporate friendly and pop culture pandering superman, someone finally decided to bring real superman to the screen. I can't remember any live action film on superman, in my lifetime which captured the essence of superman quite so beautifully. Only one i think is comparable to this version is Superman from Superman: The Animated Series. Overall the movie was brilliant, it had great visual style, and finally it had substance, a thing which is completely missing from modern blockbuster cinema.

I think this is the best season since RPM. Easily among the top six after original Mighty Morphin seasons, in space and RPM.

Smart, unapologetic and above all fun Django Unchained is one those movies which revels in its B-movie esthetic and does not take itself too seriously.
