The pace is erratic, with scenes dragging on longer than necessary, leaving audiences bewildered rather than entertained. Ultimately, "Happy Gilmore 2" is a disappointing sequel that failed to capture the spirit of the original. It’s a surreal experience that leaves you questioning how a film that should have been a fun continuation of a beloved character turned into such a strange, lackluster offering. If you’re hoping for a return to the glory days of Happy Gilmore, you may want to skip this one and stick to the original, which still stands as a comedic triumph.
