"Too easily we can get carried away by the restless world of mind. "
I extend my best wishes to those who feel that there is no such chaos, noise or restlessness.
Though I personally do not believe that there would be any person who would not feel an invincible influence of inner restlessness despite their circumastances of life.
That restlessness can be triggered by inner or outer chaos, but it constantly remains in our existance like a bug. This is felt both at an individual/ personal and at a larger level, encompassing every living being of this earth.
It's not about some motivating words coming from Prem that is intelligently devised to captivate our attention...Rather
what I liked the most that he reminds us of wisdom of many philosophers and legendary people who have dedicated their life to gain that wisdom and also impart and extend that to others. Something which he dedicated his life too for.
Without that wisdome we would always feel fooled by the existance itself. This reminds me of Leo Tolstoy's "Finding meaning in a meaningless world."
What is that factor if being absent from our life can make us consumed by that restlessness as if something is lost or we got played/fooled. By whom does not matter most. But what matters that we find that wisdom.
Hence wisdom is what we acquire through constant life long endeavor!! Very beautifully cited!
“For man to be able to live he must either not see the infinite, or have such an explanation of the meaning of life as will connect the finite with the infinite.”
Leo Tolstoy.
