Just the same as hate clicks generate ad revenue, hate watching generates impressions. Sadly, Warner Brothers is currently in a bad place fiscally, it’s a short term boost, but in the long term people will get bored of hating on it. And all that will be left is a beloved IP that systematically picked down to the bones. Incredibly sad to see.
