The first episode started really awesome. Loved it. He-man was gone but figured they would bring him right back. Then the king threatened to execute Man At Arms. I mean, what was that? I was so excited to watch this show with my children. I should have known with that line that this was not made with in the same spirit and with the same wholesomeness as the 80s version.
They didn't just take He-Man out of the show. They took basically everyone out except Teela and Evil Lyn. It's not a show about He-Man or even a show about Masters of the universe, it was all just about Teela and her epic rants and temper tantrum. Let's get rid of all the testosterone all the guys and just make He-Man a show about two girls. It's woke and weak just like about everything else these days.
Brought to you by Netflix, who previously remade a Voltron and felt absolutely compelled to have two dudes making out in a kids cartoon.
I would not let your kids see this cartoon. I'm not an overly protective parent but there's nothing good in this cartoon for your kids. Now who can say that about the original???
