An interesting read with insight into what turned out to be the political skulduggery of the Trump era in the White House. While Hutchinson got very bogged down in the details of her clearly amazing memory, self congratulations and name dropping of so many of her White House besties not to mention a whizz at Excel, it exposes how young interns/aids or 'Chiefs of Staff' to the Chief of Staff as she like to consider herself, should not be in this role. They cannot possibly have the maturity to manage the engagement with aggressive political strategists and politicians climbing up the totem pole. Quite scary with potential to cause significant damage!! When push came to shove, she tossed out what she had articulated again and again and again were her life values (at the age of 22 or 23) just like those on the totem pole. By the end I was in a hurry to finish it.
