The summer I turned pretty is a really good show and great book, I’ve been bingewatching it since I discovered it. I’ve never seen a better show than this is my life. Thanks to Jenny Han, Lola, Chris and Gavin x The only thing bothering me is the character development and the fact Belly doesn’t make a decision which makes a lack of sense. But overall it’s still amazing 🤍 The show is so good i’d rate it 9.7/10 and I love Laurel and susannah. team Conrad ofc 👀 It’s a phenomenal show, the soundtrack, scene, emotion and everything fits perfectly. I just want to say that this show literally changed my life because of how good it is. Lola is a excellent actress, the crying scenes, arguments and breakups are all so emotional and artistic. There is one mistake in S1, E1 where Belly unties her hair but then another scene shows her hair up and then when she arrived at Cousins her hair is down, just wanted to let anyone know x When Chris played Conrad he understands his character so much because Conrad is a person like the opposite of Jeremiah, because Jeremiah is all lively yk. But I feel so bad for Conrad because he saw Belly and Jeremiah kissing and he got so upset he wasn’t even himself in the car scene. BUT TEAM CONRAD!!♥️ Gavin is rlly good at acting, kissing scenes with Belly great as well although it should have been Conrad🙄😭but yeah Also I COULDNT forget STAYLORR💓Steven + Taylor are sooo cute together like their inside jks and everything 😂My 2nd favourite ship in the showww x Conrad + Belly 1st though ofc. Well done to Rain and Sean👏 Ngl I want more scenes with Belly+Conrad like even though they are endgame in s3 it still feels odd barely seeing Conrad in the first two episodes of s3. Also Belly and Jeremiah kiss to much and Jeremiah is so annoying yk. Like just go away… 💙 Why I’m Team Conrad 💙 Conrad didn’t fall for the version of Belly that everyone suddenly noticed—he saw herr in a different way nobody else could. He loved her when she was just Belly, not after she had her glow up. 2. He bought her the infinity necklace He didn't just give her some random one. He chose something special. Infinity = forever. 3. He went to the deb ball just for her Conrad was going through so much internally—grief, stress, inner struggle—but when Belly required him, he wore the suit and walked her in. He didn't make it about himself, he made it about her. Even if he did not desire to go and it felt awkward. 4. He never strung anyone else along Yes, Nicole was there for like 3 seconds, but he never even really pursued her. But all that was happening. Jeremiah was out here flirting like his jobbb ???? '5. He came into Season 1 and turned EVERYTHING upside down' That entrance wasnt dramatic—it was significant. The way he looked at Belly, the way "Lover" played—it was the show telling us that Conrad was the one who got away. 6. He's always looking out for the ones he loves 7. He always goes back to Belly 8. He never tried to compete for attention unlike Jeremiah 9. He sacrifices his own happiness for hers
