'Badhaai Do' attempts to highlight real and unnecessary struggles, it does so in a way that it totally marginalizes traditional perspectives and discourages balanced discussions. Instead of being an inclusive film, it subtly imposes a singular worldview while ignoring the simplicity of identity, faith, religion, common sense, and personal choice. A truly open society should allow discussions from all angles and take initiative to treat them, not just the ones that fit a particular agenda. As Bollywood aims to promote inclusivity, it should also respect those who hold different beliefs rather than labeling them outdated or intolerant.
