After waiting so long to see this movie, boy! What a letdown! I’m extremely disappointed in Ziggy Marley. Perhaps it was too difficult for he and his siblings to capture the personal and emotional moments that were needed in this movie to help move the narrative along. The cinematography, as has been commented numerous times throughout these reviews is beautiful and outstanding. They did capture the heart of Jamaica. I grew up with my parents, teaching me about the real Jamaica and about Bob Marley’s Legacy. I actually fell asleep five times in the movie and I wasn’t even tired. It was just extremely slow and boring. They had so much content they could’ve worked with to beautifully intertwine his legacy and his music. I am so disappointed! The only highlight I would say is the Cinematography and the lead actor. Portraying Bob Marley who’s name escapes me at the moment!
