I am a big fan of the original manga and anime Death Note, and wanted to give this movie a try since I love the art, story, characters, etc. I couldn’t even finish this movie. It actually sucked. They didn’t bother to keep the personalities of the original characters and they changed the names of everyone. Like Light Turner? Really?💀 The only thing I liked was that Ryuk was played by Willem Dafoe.

This movie was amazing! One of my favorites! The director, Jordan Peele, is a genius! He creates stunning movies and Us is definitely a masterpiece! The cast, visual effects, story, everything about it was absolutely brilliant and the creepy music was perfect! Got me thinking about if this is my life. First movie that actually creeped me out in a while.

This movie was well written out, and it was very exciting to see almost everyone from the original movie in the old house. The only thing I dislike is the characters. Jenna Ortega was annoying, as usual, and the two killers just didn’t seem like Ghostface. Ghostface is supposed to represent something, and the way this movie was written out was not to one’s liking. Sometimes I wish I never watched the Scream movies to the end except for the original because then it just kinda screws everything up.
