It's very deserving of the Worst NBA 2K Of All Time. There's a big reason it's a 1.7 out of 5 review. Laundry list of reasons including ridiculous price tag and what should be illegal micro transactions. You shouldn't get to do micro transactions in the game if you are forced to pay 70 bucks for it. You literally can't do anything without VC. You can't run,shoot,pass anything. They've became the ultimate crooks of the gaming industry.
