It really does have some great moments and episodes. The Arthur character, played Jerry Stiller, is part an expansion of his Seinfeld role, part pure comedy genius.

I only saw promos for the show on channel 52 in June 2019. They were promoting what was probably the first episode, about death. And talk about promotion! OMG....It was promoted as the best thing since sliced bread. Not only was the first episode so fully exposed, it was not worth watching. The whole approach to the series, was lame and weak. If you are going to go into 'unsafe' topics, why be so timid about it? He makes a crack about the dying as the genuinely sick, as exposed to 'druggies' who use drugs so obviously for a good time! Which, of course, backed the comedian in a corner when it came to the mental illness episode, given the link between self medication and mental illness. Not a bad concept, but the comedian was unsuitable and so out of his depth, it was cringe worthy.
