I was disappointed in the movie overall. The movie was rushed. So much was left out that you didn’t really get to understand the full character of Hardin. I understand not every detail can be in a movie from the book but you also need to draw people in and make them feel for the characters. If there is a second movie I hope there is more content and the flow of the film is more smooth. This movie felt chopped up, honestly I enjoyed the trailer more. The picking of the actors for Tessa and Hardin were spot on. With that being said I feel the actor for Hardin definitely could be challenged to bring out the book character Hardin to the screen. I think they played to safe for the movie. If you haven’t read the books you’d probably enjoy the movie more because you weren’t already invested the characters.
