1 Star - Disappointed Beyond Words
I can’t believe they killed off Venom in Venom: The Last Dance. Tom Hardy was perfect for the role of Eddie Brock, and his portrayal of Venom was a defining part of the character’s success in these movies. The emotional depth and complexity Hardy brought to Eddie and Venom made this franchise stand out, and to see it end like this is beyond disappointing.
Venom’s sacrifice to save the world was tragic, and while it was a noble act, it just felt like a huge loss to both the character and the fans. Hardy was Venom, and now we have to say goodbye to that iconic partnership. Even if Venom is somehow brought back or recast, I don’t think anyone can truly replace Hardy. This was a massive misstep and a heartbreaking end to a character that was just hitting his stride.
